讲述的故事同样是一个变态连环杀手（性别认知障碍，需要找到14码的女生剥去皮肤给他自己做一件人皮）。故事最吸引人的地方在于：食人魔汉尼拔 他有着超乎想象的知识水平、观察能力和分析能力（以至于会觉得这个人的设定太过于离奇）夜里突然想到，水牛并不是第一次行凶，但是因为这次的对象是议员的女儿所以说才受到了这么多的关注，这是否是电影所要表达的？另外一个感触就是：杀人动机非常重要！当做出离奇怪异的举动的时候，往往代表着这会是一场连环杀人案（做法、传教、满足自己变态欲望）
